🧵 The tablecloth
The Thango satin-weave tablecloth by Preziosa Home is designed for anyone who hosts meals and dinners for large groups. Measuring a generous 140x360 cm, it provides perfect coverage for extendable rectangular tables seating 18 people, ensuring an elegant and practical table setting. The satin-weave fabric offers a smooth, neat surface, ideal for everyday use as well as special occasions.
Available in several solid-color options, this tablecloth suits any interior style and lets you create personalized combinations with napkins, table runners and centerpieces. The Thango collection blends practicality and design, with a touch that evokes the timeless tradition of elegant dining.
🧬 Fabric composition: why it works
The Thango tablecloth is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester, a blended composition designed to balance softness and durability. Cotton provides a natural feel, breathability and an elegant look on the table. It is the fiber that makes the tablecloth pleasant to use and gives it a quality feel from the very first use.
Polyester, on the other hand, helps it last longer: it reduces creasing, makes ironing easier and helps the tablecloth retain its shape even after many washes. This combination is especially appreciated by those who use their tablecloth frequently and want a product that requires little maintenance while always looking presentable. The fabric weight of 170 g/m² gives it body and stability, helping keep it in place during use.
📦 Dimensions and table coverage
Measuring 140x360 cm, this tablecloth is designed to cover extendable rectangular tables seating up to 18 people. Its 140 cm width provides an even drop at the sides, while its 360 cm length covers very long tables without leaving the ends exposed.
Before purchasing, we recommend measuring your table when fully extended to check that the size is suitable. The tablecloth is ideal for tables between 280 and 320 cm long, leaving a drop of around 20–40 cm on each side. If your table is shorter, Preziosa Home offers the same Thango collection in sizes for 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 people.
✨ Why choose the Thango Satin-Weave Tablecloth
Compared with pure cotton tablecloths, the Thango requires less ironing and holds its shape for longer. Compared with pure polyester tablecloths, it feels more natural and breathable. It is the right choice for anyone seeking a balance between style and practicality without compromising on either.
The satin-weave fabric has a dense weave and a smooth surface that gives the table a neat appearance. It is neither damask nor jacquard: it is a simple, versatile fabric that pairs well with any kind of tableware and décor. Perfect for anyone who likes to change their table setting often without having to buy a new tablecloth each time.
🎨 What you can create
The Thango tablecloth is designed for setting large tables for social gatherings, family lunches and dinners with friends. Thanks to its versatility, it suits a range of occasions, from everyday use to special celebrations such as birthdays, baptisms, communions and holidays.
👩🎨 Who it's for
This tablecloth is suitable for anyone with an extendable table who regularly hosts meals or dinners for large groups. It requires no special care: simply machine wash at 30°C and give it a quick iron. It is perfect for anyone looking for practicality without sacrificing a polished look.
The Thango tablecloth is especially popular with large families, people who enjoy entertaining at home, and those who run small guesthouses or farm stays. The range of color options makes it easy to choose a shade that suits your décor, or to buy more than one and vary your table settings.
