🧵 The tablecloth
The Preziosa Home stain-resistant tablecloth is a practical solution for anyone who wants a neat-looking table without compromising on style. Made from 100% water-repellent polyester, this tablecloth repels liquids and stains, making everyday cleaning easier and every meal more enjoyable. The 140x240 cm size is designed for large tables seating up to 12 people, making it perfect for family lunches, dinners with friends and social gatherings.
Thanks to its no-iron finish, this tablecloth is ready to use straight after washing, with no ironing needed. Its solid-color finish makes it versatile and easy to coordinate with any décor, from classic to modern, allowing you to style your table with runners, placemats and coordinating accessories.
🧬 Technical composition: why it works
100% polyester is the ideal fiber for an everyday table linen product. Unlike cotton, polyester does not absorb liquids deeply, which means stains remain on the surface and can be removed with a simple wipe using a damp sponge, without pre-treatments or harsh bleach. This synthetic fiber also offers superior resistance to frequent washing, retaining its shape and color over time.
The water-repellent treatment applied to the fabric creates a protective barrier that repels water, wine, oil and other liquids, preventing them from penetrating the fibers. This not only makes immediate cleanup easier but also extends the life of the tablecloth by preventing watermarks and permanent stains. The result is a tablecloth that stays beautiful and functional even after dozens of washes, ideal for anyone looking for practicality without compromise.
📦 Size and table coverage
Measuring 140x240 cm, this tablecloth is designed to cover rectangular tables up to 200–220 cm long, with an elegant drape over the sides. It is the ideal size for tables seating 12, perfect for Sunday lunches, family dinners and special occasions when you want to create a welcoming, beautifully set table.
The 140 cm width ensures full coverage even on wide tables, while the 240 cm length gives you plenty of room for plates, glasses and a centerpiece without sacrificing space. If you have an extendable table, this tablecloth fits perfectly when the table is extended, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.
✨ Why choose the Preziosa Home Stain-Resistant Tablecloth
If you’re tired of tablecloths that stain when the first glass is spilled or require hours of ironing, this one solves both problems. The stain-resistant treatment lets you wipe up spills straight away with a damp cloth, without resorting to emergency washes or pre-treatments. That means less stress at mealtimes and more time to spend with your guests.
The no-iron feature is a real advantage: after machine washing, the tablecloth dries quickly and can be used again without ironing, while maintaining a neat, cared-for appearance. This makes it ideal for anyone short on time, as well as for guest accommodations, restaurants or B&Bs where table linen needs to be changed quickly and efficiently.
🎨 What you can create
This tablecloth is perfect for any occasion when you want a practical yet elegant table setting. Thanks to its solid-color finish, it pairs beautifully with a wide range of styles and table settings, from everyday to formal.
👩🎨 Who it’s for
This tablecloth is suitable for anyone who wants practicality without compromising on appearance. It’s perfect for families with children, where spills are a regular occurrence, as well as for those who enjoy entertaining and want a spotless table without the effort. Its stain-resistant treatment and easy-care design also make it ideal for anyone with little time for household chores.
It’s also popular with owners of small guest accommodations, B&Bs, farm stays and restaurants, where table linen needs to be durable, easy to wash and ready to use quickly. The solid-color finish makes it easy to create elegant combinations with napkins, runners and centerpieces, complementing any décor style.

📌 Important note
Polyester tablecloths may show slight shade variations between different production batches. To ensure color consistency, we recommend purchasing the required quantity in a single order. The water-repellent treatment remains effective through many washes, but it is important to follow the washing instructions to preserve its properties over time.
