🧵 The tablecloth
The Thango Sateen Tablecloth by Preziosa Home is designed for anyone looking for an elegant, practical and durable tablecloth for six. Made from cotton-polyester sateen fabric, it combines cotton’s natural softness with polyester’s durability and easy care. The 140x180 cm size fits a six-seater table perfectly, with an elegant drape over the sides.
Available in a variety of colourful patterns with a retro touch, this tablecloth is ideal for everyday use as well as family meals and special occasions. The Thango collection offers several matching sizes, from 4 to 24 seats, to suit tables of all sizes.
🧬 Fabric composition: why it works
The 50% cotton ensures a soft feel, breathability and a natural look, making the tablecloth pleasant to use every day. Cotton absorbs liquids well and keeps the table cool—important qualities for a product that comes into contact with food and drinks.
The 50% polyester adds wear resistance, reduces creasing after washing and speeds up drying. This synthetic fibre helps the tablecloth retain its shape over time and makes ironing easier, making it a practical choice for anyone seeking a balance of style and functionality with minimal upkeep.
📦 Size and use
The 140x180 cm size is designed for rectangular tables seating 6, with an overhang of around 20–30 cm on each side for an elegant, not excessive, drape. The fabric weight of 170 grams per square metre ensures a natural drape without feeling too heavy or stiff.
If you have a larger or smaller table, the Thango collection offers other sizes: 140x140 cm for 4 seats, 140x220 cm for 8 seats, and up to 140x450 cm for 24 seats. All sizes can be coordinated to create a consistent look at home or at events with multiple tables.
✨ Why choose the Thango Sateen Tablecloth
Compared with 100% cotton tablecloths, this tablecloth requires less ironing and dries faster. Compared with 100% polyester tablecloths, it retains cotton’s softness and breathability, so it feels more pleasant and looks less synthetic. The cotton-polyester blend is ideal for anyone seeking a product that is both elegant and practical.
The printed sateen fabric, with its colourful patterns, adds character to the table without being over the top. The Thango collection’s prints have a retro touch that suits both classic and modern kitchens, making this tablecloth versatile enough for any interior style.
🎨 How you can use it
This tablecloth is perfect for everyday dining, family dinners, Sunday lunches and social gatherings. Thanks to its durable fabric and easy washing, it is also suitable for frequent use in the kitchen or dining room.
👩🎨 Who it’s for
This tablecloth is suitable for anyone looking for a practical, quality product for the dining table. It requires no special care: machine wash at 40°C, quick to dry and needs little ironing thanks to the polyester. It is perfect for anyone short on time but who still wants a well-dressed table.
Buyers typically choose it for everyday use, to replace worn-out items or to complete their table linen collection. It is also popular with B&B, holiday-home and restaurant owners thanks to its durability and easy care.
