🧵 The tablecloth
The Preziosa Home stain-resistant tablecloth is made from 100% polyester with a water-repellent and stain-resistant treatment integrated into the yarn. Designed for those who want practicality without compromising on elegance, this solid-color tablecloth complements any interior style and protects your table from spills and everyday stains.
The 140x140 cm size is ideal for square tables seating 4. The fabric is soft to the touch, durable and easy to care for: simply wipe away small stains with a damp cloth, without the need for frequent washing.
🧬 Technical composition: why it works
100% polyester is a strong, durable and easy-care synthetic fiber. Unlike cotton, it does not absorb liquids quickly and holds its shape even after many washes. This makes it perfect for everyday tablecloths, where practicality is essential.
The water-repellent treatment applied to the yarn creates an invisible barrier that prevents liquids from penetrating the fabric. Coffee, wine, oil and other substances roll off without leaving marks, making cleanup quick and easy. This treatment is integrated into the fiber rather than applied to the surface, ensuring greater durability over time.
📦 Size and available options
The 140x140 cm tablecloth is designed for square tables seating 4, with an overhang of approximately 20–25 cm on each side. This size is perfect for everyday family lunches and dinners, providing full coverage of the tabletop.
The Preziosa Home range offers 6 different sizes: 140x140 cm (seats 4), 140x180 cm (seats 6), 140x220 cm (seats 8), 140x240 cm (seats 12), 140x360 cm (seats 18) and 140x450 cm (seats 24). We recommend purchasing all the tablecloths you need at the same time to ensure consistent color across different production batches.
✨ Why choose the Preziosa Home Stain-Resistant Tablecloth
Unlike traditional cotton tablecloths, this stain-resistant tablecloth prevents permanent stains and reduces the need for frequent washing. There's no need to pretreat stains before washing or iron after drying. The time savings are significant, especially for those who use a tablecloth every day.
Its solid-color finish makes it versatile: it pairs easily with napkins, table runners and placemats in any color or pattern. It's a practical choice for anyone who wants to change the look of their table without having to replace the tablecloth each time.
🎨 How you can use it
This tablecloth is perfect for everyday use in the kitchen or dining room, family lunches and dinners, and both casual and elegant table settings. Thanks to its stain-resistant treatment, it's also ideal for covered outdoor tables, birthday parties, buffets and social gatherings where practicality is essential.
👩🎨 Who it's suitable for
This tablecloth is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience. It requires no special care during use: simply spread it over the table and, after the meal, brush away the crumbs and wipe any stains with a damp cloth. It's perfect for anyone with little time to spend caring for their table linens.
It's a popular choice with families with children, busy people who have little time for ironing, owners of vacation homes or second homes, and restaurateurs looking for practical tablecloths for everyday use. It's also a great gift idea for anyone who values practicality without compromising on style.
🧼 Maintenance and care
- WashingMachine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle
- BleachingDo not use bleach
- Spin cycleAvoid spinning
- DryingAir-dry; do not tumble dry
- IroningNot required. If desired, iron on the reverse at medium heat to reactivate the treatment
- StorageStore in a dry place, away from direct sunlight
📌 Important note
Measurements may vary by ±2 cm due to the manufacturing process. Colors may vary slightly between different batches: if you need multiple tablecloths in the same shade, we recommend purchasing them together. The stain-resistant treatment is long-lasting but may fade over time; ironing on the reverse at medium heat helps reactivate it. Do not use fabric softeners or harsh products, as these may compromise the water-repellent treatment.
